Research Associate II – Monitoring & Evaluation

About the role

The Research Associate II will provide technical support for Ipas Bangladesh’s research, monitoring and evaluation activities. The role involves coordinating study activities, ensuring compliance with protocols, and managing data collection and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance during research implementation, including data collection, management, documentation, and results reporting.
• Support study design, ethical approval, data analysis, and reporting for program evaluation.
• Maintain quality control in line with Ipas global standards and contribute to donor documentation.
• Train staff on RM&E data collection and processing.
• Communicate regularly with headquarters, partner NGOs, and field teams to monitor progress.
• Develop and maintain research records, prepare periodic and ad‑hoc reports, and organize technical advisory meetings.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in statistics, public health, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in research and evaluation of sexual and reproductive health programs.
• Strong management experience in research administration and field supervision.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Bangla.

Required skills

• Statistical analysis using Stata and SPSS.
• Data collection tools such as CommCare and ODK Collect.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and database development.
• Qualitative analysis using Dedoose and NVivo.
