Finance Manager – Bangladesh

About the role

NRC Bangladesh is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial planning, budgeting and management for its humanitarian operations in Bangladesh. The role ensures effective development, implementation and oversight of financial policies, procedures and systems while maintaining compliance with donor and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Line management of finance staff, including performance management, recruitment and development.
• Provide finance support, supervision and training for staff with financial responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with policies, donor, auditor and Bangladesh legal requirements.
• Implement and maintain financial systems, routines and procedures.
• Control budgets, monitor cash‑flow and deliver financial reporting and analysis.
• Implement anti‑corruption policies.

Required profile

• Senior financial management experience in a humanitarian or recovery context.
• Familiarity with the financial operating environment in Bangladesh.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Proficiency with modern accounting software and computer applications.
