Multisectoral Support Specialist

About the role

The Multisectoral Support Specialist will support the STRIDES Bangladesh activity by advancing One Health and multisectoral coordination across laboratory systems, surveillance, data integration, and outbreak preparedness. Working closely with the Technical Director and technical leads, the specialist will facilitate collaboration among human health, animal health, environmental health, emergency response, and data system stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate engagement with government counterparts, the One Health Secretariat, technical working groups, implementing partners, and subcontractors.
• Support joint planning, document coordination mechanisms, and follow up on agreed actions.
• Develop or update technical notes, standard operating procedures, briefs, meeting outputs, and partner engagement materials.
• Ensure STRIDES activities align with government priorities and priority zoonotic disease needs.

Required profile

• Experience in multisectoral coordination and One Health initiatives.
• Familiarity with laboratory systems, disease surveillance, and outbreak preparedness activities.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies and international partners.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
