Assistant Manager, Cash and Trade Processing

About the role

Citi is hiring an Assistant Manager (Cash and Trade Processing, C09) in Dhaka, Bangladesh, for its Cross Border Fund Transfer Unit (Commercial Remittance). This is an intermediate-level role within the Operations - Transaction Services family, focused on cash management.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure smooth transactions of Cross Border Fund Transfer (CBFT) operations and prompt client service
• Maintain appropriate controls and procedures, proactively coordinate to close process gaps and ensure Local Operating Manuals (LOMs) are followed; escalate and resolve identified gaps
• Review LOMs, the Product Control Functional Checklist and other activities on time
• Deepen client relationships through business value propositions and provide CBFT transaction advisory after liaising with the Product and Relationship Manager
• Ensure timely FX reporting of CBFT transactions and timely reporting as a feeder unit
• Take part in sanity/UAT testing of CBFT product processors and share knowledge across the team
• Complete projects and assignments given by management or seniors, and deliver audit outputs on time (Internal Audit and Bangladesh Bank Audit)
• Deliver accurate and timely Corrective Action Plans (CAP)

Required profile

• 4-5 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Banking diploma and completion of foundation training with the current bank
• Compliance with BRPD regulations, including the banking professional examination and foundational training guidelines
