Project Manager – DFAT 5 (Integrated Health, Child Protection & Education)

About the role

Save the Children is seeking a Project Manager to lead the DFAT‑funded "Protecting Lives and Building Resilience in Cox’s Bazar" project. The role oversees health, child protection and education components, ensuring integrated delivery and compliance with donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall management and coordination of the DFAT‑5 project across health, child protection and education sectors.
• Ensure timely, quality implementation in line with the approved proposal, results framework, budget and Save the Children policies.
• Monitor budget utilisation, financial compliance and risk mitigation, and produce high‑quality reporting and documentation.
• Facilitate coordination among technical leads, MEAL, finance, supply chain, HR, safeguarding and local implementing partners.
• Lead localisation planning, partner capacity strengthening, cross‑sector referral mechanisms, climate and disaster resilience, GEDSI, and accountability to affected populations.
• Oversee transition, hand‑over and close‑out activities for the project.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Proven experience in partner management, integrated project implementation and rights‑based approaches.
• Strong knowledge of the CRC, other human‑rights instruments and child‑rights programming.
• Expertise in project cycle management, budgeting, monitoring & evaluation and conflict management.
• Excellent people, partnership and supervisory management skills.
• Master’s degree in Social Sciences or a related discipline.
