Protection Manager - PRoL

About the role

The Protection Manager - PRoL, based in the Ukhiya office, will lead program and operational management of community‑based protection (CBP) and protection monitoring (PM) for Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. Reporting to the Senior Protection Manager, the role ensures high‑quality protection services, case management, referrals and data‑driven advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of CBP, case management, protection monitoring and emergency response, ensuring high‑quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance to camp teams on community mobilization, protection discussions and action planning.
• Support training on protection, human rights and mainstreaming for community groups, coordinating with WPE, CP, health and safeguarding teams.
• Develop and refine quality systems and tools for protection monitoring, ensuring effective data collection and analysis.
• Coordinate with the Signpost team to integrate two‑way communications into protection activities.
• Lead capacity‑building programmes for local NGOs, including work‑plan creation and logistical organization of trainings.
• Track and report program deliverables and donor requirements, ensuring compliance with IRC and donor regulations.
• Supervise and mentor the PRoL team, manage performance, attendance and conduct regular meetings.
