About the role

The HSSE Manager will lead health, safety, and environment initiatives for Maersk in Bangladesh, ensuring a safe workplace and compliance with all relevant standards.

Key responsibilities

Inspect workplace and environmental incidents and implement corrective and preventative actions.
Ensure compliance with internal and external HSE requirements and standards.
Coach and mentor less experienced staff and oversee work of lower‑level professionals.

Required profile

In‑depth knowledge and experience in HSE functional area.
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and seek advice on complex issues.
Understanding of business interdependencies across functions.

Required skills

Strong technical knowledge of health, safety, occupational and environmental programs.
Experience applying subject‑matter expertise to solve business issues.
