About the role
The Assistant Manager – Maintenance will support the maintenance department in overseeing plant equipment and project activities. The role requires a strong mechanical engineering background and proven project experience.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning, scheduling and supervising maintenance tasks for production equipment.
- Coordinate and monitor maintenance projects to ensure timely completion and budget compliance.
- Support the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and project progress.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience managing or participating in maintenance projects.
