About the role

The University of Science and Technology Chittagong seeks an Assistant Professor for its Department of English. The position is full‑time and based on the campus in Chattogram.

Key responsibilities

Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in English.
Engage in scholarly research and publish findings.
Participate in departmental activities and academic committees.

Required profile

Master’s degree with Honors in English or a related discipline from a reputed university, meeting UGC first‑division criteria.
PhD or MPhil preferred.
Minimum three years of university‑level teaching and research experience.
