Deputy Team Leader – Assisted Passage Program

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Deputy Team Leader for its Assisted Passage Program (APP) in Bangladesh. Reporting to the Team Lead, you will help ensure that external conditions, government coordination and partnership mechanisms enable smooth and consistent program delivery for Rohingya refugees and host communities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagement with Government of Bangladesh officials at national, district and camp levels to support APP implementation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships that facilitate timely decision‑making and coordination.
• Identify and resolve external constraints that could affect program delivery.
• Integrate external requirements into program planning, monitoring and reporting.
• Strengthen coordination systems to improve predictability, efficiency and alignment between external engagement and operational activities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in humanitarian program management or similar coordination roles.
• Proven ability to work with government counterparts and multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a solutions‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
