About the role

The Eco-Social Development Organization is seeking a motivated MIS (Management Information System) Accountant Trainee to support its micro‑finance program. This full‑time, office‑based position offers hands‑on experience in financial data management, reporting, and accounting processes within a development‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining financial statements and MIS reports for micro‑finance activities.
• Collect, verify, and input transaction data into accounting software.
• Support the monitoring of loan disbursements, repayments, and portfolio performance.
• Help ensure compliance with internal controls and donor reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with senior accountants to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate findings clearly.

Required skills

• Proficiency in standard accounting software and spreadsheet tools.
