Information Officer (Video & Multimedia Production)

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking an Information Officer to lead the video and multimedia production for its InfoSheba initiative in Bangladesh. The role focuses on creating clear, trustworthy visual content that helps Rohingya refugees and host communities understand services, entitlements and protection risks.

Key responsibilities

• Research, script and plan video stories that translate complex humanitarian information into simple visual formats.
• Film, edit and produce high‑quality videos and motion‑graphics for digital channels, the InfoSheba website and community Information Corners.
• Ensure all content is accessible to audiences with limited literacy and limited access to formal information sources.
• Collaborate with the InfoSheba editorial team and field partners to align content with protection and service guidelines.
• Maintain a consistent publishing schedule across digital platforms.

Required profile

• Passionate, solutions‑driven individual with a commitment to humanitarian impact.
• Experience producing video content for low‑literacy or crisis‑affected audiences.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment in Bangladesh.
