Lead Administrator, IT Operations Center

About the role

The Lead Administrator, IT Operations Center will supervise the local Operations Center (OC) team, ensuring continuous monitoring and reliable operation of Gildan’s global data centers, infrastructure, applications, backups and batch schedules. The role also supports Gildan’s global employees in Bangladesh, aligning local priorities with worldwide IT needs.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and escalation of incidents across infrastructure, cloud services, software applications, backups and batch schedules.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation, KPI dashboards and root‑cause analysis reports.
• Oversee backup systems, off‑site tape transfers, UPS equipment and auxiliary data‑center hardware.
• Develop the team through knowledge transfer, training, and creation of SOPs, manuals and guidelines.
• Coordinate with global IT supervisors to ensure Dhaka staff compliance, shift management, overtime, transportation and inclusion in corporate activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
• At least 10 years of IT experience, including 5 years in NOC or operations center activities.

Required skills

• NOC operations and IT infrastructure monitoring.
• Backup and recovery management.
