Media & Communications Associate

About the role

The Media & Communications Associate will lead impactful communication campaigns that address urgent climate advocacy, plastic pollution, and environmental health issues. This role offers hands‑on field exposure and capacity‑building opportunities within a mission‑driven organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute multimedia communication strategies to raise awareness on climate and environmental health topics.
• Create engaging content for digital platforms, social media, newsletters, and print materials.
• Design, maintain, and update the organization’s website to ensure accurate and timely information.
• Collaborate with program teams, partners, and stakeholders to align messaging with project objectives.
• Monitor media coverage and analyze campaign performance to inform future initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Information & Communication Technology, Science, Social Science, Media & Mass Communication, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in media, communications, or content creation.
• Strong understanding of environmental issues and climate advocacy.
