Project Manager – DFAT 5 (Integrated Health, Child Protection & Education)

About the role

The Project Manager – DFAT 5 will lead Save the Children’s DFAT‑funded project that delivers integrated health, child protection and education services in Cox’s Bazar. The role ensures timely, high‑quality implementation in line with the project proposal, results framework and DFAT requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall management and coordination of the integrated project across health, child protection and education.
• Monitor budget utilisation, ensure compliance with DFAT standards and Save the Children policies.
• Facilitate effective coordination among technical teams, implementing partners and government stakeholders.
• Lead localisation efforts, partner capacity strengthening and cross‑sector referral mechanisms.
• Oversee climate and disaster resilience, GEDSI integration, accountability to affected populations and the transition, handover and close‑out of the project.
• Ensure quality reporting, learning documentation and adaptive management throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of the CRC, human rights instruments and rights‑based programming.
• Proven experience in integrated, rights‑based project cycle management, budgeting and M&E.
• Demonstrated conflict, people and partnership management skills.
• Master’s degree in Social Sciences or a related discipline.
