Senior Project Officer – MEAL, Food Security & Livelihood

About the role

The Senior Project Officer will lead Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) activities for food security, skills development and livelihood programmes within the HCMP project. Based in the Ramu office, the role supports climate‑adaptive agricultural initiatives and ensures project outcomes are measured, reported and continuously improved.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement MEAL frameworks for food security and livelihood interventions.
• Collect, analyse and report quantitative and qualitative data to track project performance.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure data quality and timely submission.
• Provide learning insights and recommendations to enhance climate‑adaptive agricultural practices.
• Prepare regular progress reports for donors and senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Science, Business Administration, Development Studies or a related discipline from a UGC‑approved institute.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in project monitoring, evaluation or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience with climate‑adaptive agricultural practices is highly preferred.
