Technical Manager – GBVIMS

About the role

The GBVIMS Technical Manager will provide technical capacity‑building to the Women’s Protection & Empowerment (WPE) response team in Bangladesh, ensuring gender‑based violence (GBV) and protection data are collected, stored, analyzed and shared in strict compliance with GBVIMS standards and inter‑agency guidelines. The role supports monitoring, evaluation and reporting for IRC’s WPE programme and represents the organization in inter‑agency GBVIMS initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical training on GBVIMS+ and Primero to staff and partners.
• Ensure ethical and accurate collection, storage, analysis and dissemination of GBV and protection data.
• Contribute to monitoring, evaluation and reporting of WPE activities.
• Collaborate with WPE senior managers and case‑management teams on data‑driven interventions.
• Represent IRC in joint GBV trends analysis and inter‑agency working groups.
• Lead planning and delivery of GBVIMS/Primero case‑management training.

Required profile

• Proven experience in GBV data management and protection monitoring within humanitarian settings.
• Familiarity with inter‑agency GBVIMS standards and case‑management guidelines.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to data quality and ethics.
• Ability to train and mentor staff and partners.
• Excellent communication skills and capacity to work collaboratively with senior managers.
