Associate Officer - PSN Identification, Validation and Assessment

About the role

The Associate Officer will lead the identification, validation and assessment of PSN (Potential Service Need) in the Teknaf and Ukhia areas. Working for ActionAid Bangladesh, the role supports programme delivery by ensuring accurate data on beneficiaries and compliance with organisational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field visits to identify individuals or households eligible for PSN programmes.
• Validate collected information against established criteria and documentation.
• Assess eligibility and compile assessment reports for programme planning.
• Maintain accurate records and update databases with validated data.
• Coordinate with field teams and supervisors to ensure timely data collection.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, psychology, law, development studies, human rights or a related discipline (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Minimum of four years’ experience in field assessment, data validation or related humanitarian work.
