Associate Officer - Sports for Protection

About the role

The Associate Officer – Sports for Protection will work with ActionAid Bangladesh in the coastal areas of Teknaf and Ukhia. This contract position focuses on using sport‑based activities to support protection and wellbeing objectives for vulnerable communities. The role is a single‑vacancy, fixed‑term contract based onsite in Bangladesh. The officer will report to the programme team and contribute to the design, implementation and monitoring of sport‑driven protection initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering sport activities that promote protection outcomes.
• Support monitoring and reporting on sport‑based interventions.
• Collaborate with local partners and community members to ensure safe and inclusive participation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in sports management, physical education, social work or a related field.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in sports, community development or protection work.
