Deputy General Manager – Business Development

About the role

Solar Intercontinental (SOLARIC) Ltd. is looking for an experienced Deputy General Manager to drive business development initiatives in the renewable energy sector. The role will focus on expanding the company’s market presence in Bangladesh and building strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute business expansion strategies for solar and renewable energy projects.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients.
• Conduct market analysis to uncover new opportunities and assess competitive dynamics.
• Negotiate contracts and oversee the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, and operations teams to ensure project feasibility and profitability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy Engineering or a related field.
• MBA or equivalent qualification in Marketing or Business Administration.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, preferably within the renewable energy industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large‑scale projects.
