Litigation Officer

About the role

Grameen Healthtech Limited is looking for a motivated Litigation Officer to lead the management of all legal disputes and court proceedings. The role will be based in the Mirpur 1 office and will involve close collaboration with internal teams to protect the company’s legal interests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all ongoing litigation matters, ensuring timely filing and compliance with court deadlines.
• Prepare, review, and file legal documents, pleadings, and motions.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to senior management on dispute resolution.
• Liaise with external counsel, courts, and regulatory bodies as required.
• Maintain accurate case files and track litigation costs.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience handling litigation or legal disputes.
• Bachelor of Law (LLB) and Master of Law (LLM) degrees.
• Enrollment with the Bangladesh Bar Council is mandatory.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Bangladeshi civil and criminal procedure law.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and court filings.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
