Officer - PSN Identification, Validation and Assessment

About the role

ActionAid Bangladesh is seeking an Officer to lead the identification, validation and assessment of PSN (Protection and Social Needs) within the Teknaf and Ukhia areas. The role supports programme delivery by ensuring accurate data collection and analysis for vulnerable populations. The officer will work closely with field staff and partners to ensure that vulnerable populations receive timely and appropriate support.

Key responsibilities

• Identify individuals and households eligible for PSN interventions through field visits and data collection.
• Validate the accuracy and completeness of information gathered during identification processes.
• Assess protection and social needs of identified beneficiaries, producing detailed assessment reports.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records and databases of identified and assessed cases.
• Liaise with programme teams to ensure assessment findings inform project planning.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in social work, sociology, psychology, development studies, human rights, public administration or a related discipline.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience.
