Principal – Nursing

About the role

The Principal – Nursing will lead the Japan‑Bangladesh Global Nursing College in Narail, overseeing academic, operational and administrative functions. The role demands a seasoned leader in nursing education to ensure high‑quality teaching, faculty performance and a supportive learning environment. The successful candidate will champion excellence and continuous improvement across all college activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for nursing programs and college growth.
• Manage faculty recruitment, development, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure curriculum aligns with national and international nursing standards.
• Oversee accreditation, quality assurance, and compliance processes.
• Supervise budget planning, resource allocation, and financial reporting.
• Foster partnerships with hospitals, clinics and professional bodies.
• Lead student support services, including counseling and career guidance.
• Implement student assessment strategies and monitor academic outcomes.
• Promote research initiatives and community service projects.

Required profile

• Master of Science (MSc) in Nursing (PhD preferred).
• 8–14 years of experience in nursing education or academic leadership.
• Proven track record of managing faculty and academic programs.
• Strong understanding of nursing accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and drive quality improvement.
• Experience with budget management and resource planning.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
