About the role

The Swing Line Chief will lead the swing line operations in a 100% export‑oriented knit garment factory. Reporting to the production manager, the role is responsible for ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining quality standards, and achieving daily production targets while coordinating closely with material planning and maintenance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the swing line team.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet targets.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards on the line.
• Report daily output, issues, and corrective actions to senior management.
• Maintain equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Train new operators and provide on‑the‑job guidance.
• Maintain accurate production records and logs.
• Collaborate with material planning to ensure timely supply of fabrics and accessories.

Required profile

• Minimum education: 8th grade up to SSC (Secondary School Certificate) or equivalent.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to read and understand production instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work shifts and follow safety protocols.
