Trade and Customer Marketing Manager

About the role

Haleon, a consumer health company with brands such as Sensodyne, Panadol, Advil, Voltaren, Theraflu, Otrivin and Centrum, is looking for a Trade and Customer Marketing Manager in Dhaka. The role links Sales and Marketing and turns brand objectives into shopper-focused trade marketing plans that drive category growth, strengthen customer partnerships and deliver sales results in the competitive FMCG market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run the annual trade marketing strategy, including channel-specific plans for general trade, modern trade, wholesale, pharmacy, e-commerce and emerging channels, and lead trade calendars, promotional plans and visibility strategies.
• Execute trade campaigns, activations and product launches, and deploy POSM, merchandising units and visibility solutions.
• Implement planograms, category management and shelf strategies, and ensure brand compliance across outlets.
• Support Sales teams and Key Account Managers with trade tools, schemes and joint business plans, and help distributors and retailers.
• Track competitors' pricing, promotions and in-store presence and provide counter-strategy insights.
• Manage trade marketing budgets and ROI, define and report KPIs such as sales uplift, market share and visibility scores, and conduct post-activity reviews.
• Monitor execution through field visits, retail audits and third-party research, and work with Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and external agencies.

Required profile

• 12+ years of progressive experience in FMCG sales, trade marketing or brand management across multiple trade channels.
• Strong understanding of the FMCG retail landscape and shopper behaviour in general trade and modern trade.
• Demonstrated success in trade promotions, category management and in-store visibility.
• Analytical, project management and communication skills, with strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
