UI & Visual Designer

About the role

Gigalogy builds an AI platform that helps businesses integrate artificial intelligence into their applications. It is looking for an experienced UI & Visual Designer to join its Dhaka team and build consistent, high-quality, scalable digital experiences. The role combines hands-on Design System work with strong visual design skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain the Design System, including reusable components, visual and interaction patterns and documentation.
• Create interface designs, wireframes, interactive prototypes and other digital assets in Figma or equivalent tools.
• Develop visual styles for interfaces, illustrations, icons, animations and other assets, including motion, transitions and micro-interactions.
• Solve UI/UX problems and contribute to UI/UX strategies aligned with product and business goals.
• Maintain design system documentation, naming conventions and component standards, and drive its adoption across design and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with engineers, applying working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and review implemented designs for consistency, quality, responsiveness and accessibility.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in UI, visual or product design.
• Prior experience working on a Design System.
• Strong portfolio showing UI and visual design skills, with examples of Design System work.
• Ability to design motion, animation, transitions and micro-interactions.
• Strong written and verbal English.
• Nice to have: degree in computer science or a related field, interest in AI-assisted design, experience with international or distributed teams, and experience with UX researchers, product managers and engineering teams.

Required skills

• Figma, including design tokens, component libraries and Design System governance at scale.
• UX principles, user flows, wireframing and interaction design.
• HTML5, CSS and modern CSS practices; working knowledge of JavaScript.
• Nice to have: React or Vue, Sass or Less, and experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks.

• Salary of BDT 50,000 - 100,000 per month, reviewed twice a year.
