Video Data Annotation Specialist - AI Training

About the role

Gramian Consultancy, a boutique consultancy specialising in IT professional services and engineering talent solutions, is looking for detail-oriented Video Data Annotators to support the training and evaluation of next-generation AI systems. You will review short video and audio clips, label multimedia content, assess AI-generated descriptions and evaluate content against moderation guidelines. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key responsibilities

• Review and annotate short video and audio clips according to project-specific guidelines.
• Evaluate AI-generated descriptions for accuracy, relevance and appropriateness.
• Assess multimedia content against moderation standards and flag potentially inappropriate or uncertain material with clear explanations.
• Identify inaccuracies, ambiguities and inconsistencies in AI-generated outputs.
• Provide concise written feedback to support improvements in AI performance and data quality.
• Maintain high annotation accuracy and consistency across large volumes of submissions.
• Collaborate remotely with project managers and team members to clarify guidelines and improve workflows.
• Follow confidentiality, data protection and responsible data-handling requirements.

Required profile

• Strong written English and the ability to communicate findings clearly.
• Excellent attention to detail when reviewing visual and audio content.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply evaluation criteria consistently.
• Strong analytical skills and sound judgment when spotting inaccuracies or ambiguous content.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Commitment to data confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive information.
