Senior Bridge Engineer

About the role

The Senior Bridge Engineer will provide technical oversight for the planning, design and construction of bridge and related structural works on international projects. You will ensure compliance with standards, deliver safe and durable infrastructure, and support the project team throughout the lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review detailed structural drawings, calculations and design reports for compliance with codes and project specifications.
• Monitor site activities, verify construction against approved drawings and conduct regular inspections.
• Investigate structural issues during construction, analyse root causes and propose corrective measures.
• Inspect fabrication and assembly of precast members and conduct final inspections to identify defects.
• Carry out technical audits of completed structures and prepare audit reports.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Civil Engineering (BSc) or equivalent; MSc in Structural or Bridge Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in design and construction of major bridges or elevated expressways.
• Independent design experience on at least two bridges of 1.5 km length or more.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards and specifications for elevated expressways.
