Senior Manager – Resource Development

About the role

World Vision Bangladesh is seeking a Senior Manager – Resource Development to lead donor engagement and grant acquisition across its programmes, including the Refugee Response Programme in Cox’s Bazar. The role will shape the organization’s capture planning, bid management and partnership strategy to support the strategic plan and expand a portfolio exceeding USD 50 million.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage capture plans and bid pipelines to secure new grant funding.
• Lead donor engagement activities and represent World Vision Bangladesh in external and international meetings.
• Collaborate with technical leads and cross‑functional teams to produce high‑quality grant proposals that meet donor requirements.
• Ensure compliance with donor rules, regulations, and reporting standards.
• Oversee the grant portfolio, tracking progress and performance against targets.
• Strengthen the capacity of resource development staff through coaching and mentorship.
• Foster strategic collaboration with Program Quality, Finance (cost proposal development), Operations, and the Refugee Response Programme.
• Communicate World Vision’s Christian ethos and model strong spiritual leadership.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in resource development, grant management, or donor relations.
• Comfortable representing the organization externally and internationally.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage large grant portfolios.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance, proposal development, and capture planning.
• Commitment to World Vision’s Christian values and ability to model spiritual leadership.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
