Structural Engineer – Dhaka Elevated Expressway

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to independently monitor and evaluate the operation and maintenance performance of the Dhaka Elevated Expressway. The role supports the Independent Engineer in safeguarding asset integrity, ensuring reliability, and assisting contract administration during the O&M phase.

Key responsibilities

• Review, evaluate and monitor operation and maintenance planning, manuals and maintenance programmes.
• Monitor and assess the operational, structural and maintenance performance of the expressway system.
• Conduct periodic inspections, structural assessments and traffic audits to verify asset condition and performance.
• Provide independent technical advice, support contract administration coordination and assist in dispute resolution.
• Enforce O&M compliance and facilitate corrective or remedial actions for non‑performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (minimum); Master’s degree in Structural or Bridge Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in structural/bridge engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in design, supervision or construction of bridges, flyovers, elevated expressways or similar large‑scale infrastructure projects.
