Telesales Specialist – Restaurant Onboarding

About the role

foodpanda, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Telesales Specialist in Dhaka to identify and onboard new restaurants onto its platform. The role grows the business and ensures good dining experiences for customers. It also covers the incubation and account management of newly acquired vendors for one month after onboarding. Shortlisted candidates are prioritised as opportunities arise.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound inquiries from potential restaurant owners interested in joining the platform.
• Research and identify restaurant partners through offline channels such as local directories, industry events and referrals.
• Build relationships with potential partners, explaining services, benefits and pricing.
• Assess partners against quality criteria and qualify leads.
• Conduct persuasive phone sales presentations and negotiate terms and agreements.
• Assist with onboarding so partners have the information and resources they need.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly acquisition targets and KPIs.

Required profile

• MBA, BBA or B.Com from a recognised university.
• Proven experience in telesales, sales or a similar sales role.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, accountable setting.
• Familiarity with the restaurant industry is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
