Facilitator for Divisional & National Consultations on Migration NAP

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks a consultant to facilitate structured, multi‑stakeholder consultations across eight divisions and at the national level in Bangladesh. The role supports the development of an inclusive National Action Plan for the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare workplan, consultation methodology, agenda templates, and stakeholder mapping.
• Prepare presentations and facilitate eight divisional‑level consultations, producing summary reports within 10 days of each workshop.
• Facilitate the national‑level consultation and deliver an event report within 10 days, identifying at least five priority intervention areas for the NAP.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Policy, or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and policy consultations.
• Demonstrated experience in migration governance, development planning, or related thematic areas.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla.
