Finance Manager – Humanitarian Finance Lead

About the role

NRC Bangladesh is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial planning, budgeting, and management for its humanitarian operations. The role ensures robust financial controls, compliance with donor and statutory requirements, and provides strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Line management of finance staff, including performance, recruitment, and development.
• Supervise finance support functions and develop finance training for staff.
• Ensure compliance with policies, donor, auditor, and Bangladesh legal requirements.
• Implement financial systems, routines, and procedures.
• Control budgets, monitor cash‑flow and provide financial reporting and analysis.
• Implement anti‑corruption policies and oversee financial risk management.

Required profile

• Senior financial management experience in a humanitarian or recovery context.
• Proficiency with computer software and modern accounting systems.
• Familiarity with the financial operating environment in Bangladesh.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal.
