Graphics Automation Officer

About the role

Avery Dennison is hiring a full-time Officer, Graphics Automation in Dhaka. The role supports customer programs by setting up, testing and maintaining graphics automation routines across global production sites, ensuring consistent formatting standards and timely resolution of operational or live production issues so that manufacturing remains efficient and accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Work with DSS, GPD and operations teams to support new customer programs and keep graphics automation routines on track with customer orders.
• Ensure customer programs follow graphics automation standards, including coding conventions, procedures, operational manuals and formatting consistency.
• Assist the Internet Development team by testing and reviewing new routines before they go live.
• Provide technical support for product setups, amended products and errors in existing routines, and resolve live production issues within agreed timeframes (currently 24 hours).
• Migrate verified fixes to all global production sites and transfer current formats accurately to overseas sites.
• Continuously review and monitor automation routines to maximise performance, and keep personal GPS, workstation standards and health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Background in Computer Science with knowledge of programming and graphics software.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Strong problem-solving skills, project management abilities and ability to work under pressure with a high workload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and a flexible attitude.
• 1-2 years of experience in a graphics studio environment is an added advantage.
