Merchandiser (Factory Based)

About the role

The Merchandiser will work on the factory floor to ensure that product flow, quality and delivery targets are met for our knit and denim lines. Reporting to the Production Manager, the role bridges design, sourcing and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily production schedules and adjust plans to meet order deadlines.
• Coordinate with cutting, sewing and finishing teams to ensure correct material usage.
• Track inventory levels of fabrics, trims and finished goods, updating ERP system.
• Conduct regular quality checks and communicate any deviations to the QA team.
• Prepare weekly reports on output, wastage and cost performance for senior management.
• Liaise with buyers and sales teams to confirm specifications and delivery dates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree or diploma in Textile, Apparel or Fashion is preferred.
• Minimum of four years’ experience as a merchandiser or in a similar role within a garment factory.
• Strong understanding of knit and denim manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production timelines.

Required skills

• Knowledge of garment production workflow.
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
