Monitoring Manager

About the role

The Monitoring Manager will oversee monitoring systems that generate timely, high-quality data to strengthen program implementation and decision‑making. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, the manager will improve data quality, monitor program performance, and drive continuous improvement across Bangladesh.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate end‑to‑end monitoring processes for key programs.
• Support implementation teams in data collection within hospitals, conduct field visits and troubleshoot challenges.
• Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovation to improve monitoring performance and quality.
• Streamline data collection from SurveyCTO and other sources, ensuring data quality.
• Maintain research databases separate from monitoring data.
• Lead the data visualization team to build dashboards and generate insights using tools such as Google Looker Studio, Tableau or Power BI.
• Prepare and present dashboards, reports and monthly presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design, implementation, technology, research and communications teams to share insights and guide program improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, data science or a related field.
• 4‑5 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, quality improvement or outputs analysis, preferably with an NGO.
• Strong written English communication and report‑writing skills.
• Proficiency in both English and Bangla.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams of designers, analysts and educators.
