Health System Coordinator for SRHR Services

About the role

The Health System Coordinator will plan and implement initiatives to strengthen sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) services, focusing on family planning, menstrual regulation, post‑abortion care and GBV survivor management in urban health facilities serving underserved communities in Dhaka.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and capacity‑building to urban clinics, public and private hospitals, and tertiary institutes, including training, mentoring and on‑site support for service providers.
• Coordinate training needs assessments, develop training plans, prepare materials and logistics, and ensure adherence to approved curricula for FP, CMRC, GBV and pharmacy training.
• Support facility readiness by ensuring availability and proper use of medical instruments, commodities, guidelines, registers and reporting tools.
• Monitor service data quality, maintain accurate records in Ipas’s Tera system, and prepare training and service reports.
• Facilitate regular monitoring visits, on‑the‑job mentoring, and service progress reviews to ensure compliance with SOPs, infection prevention, and respectful, stigma‑free care.
• Organise technical review meetings with facility teams, government officials and partners to review performance and strengthen coordination.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating health‑system strengthening initiatives, preferably in SRHR or reproductive health.
• Strong ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including government ministries, NGOs, health facilities and community groups.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills, with experience managing training logistics and data reporting.
