About the role
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bangladesh is seeking a Project Manager to lead and coordinate development initiatives across its Democratic Governance and Resilience & Inclusive Growth clusters. The role supports the Country Programme and contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee project planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting to ensure quality and results.
- Coordinate with implementing partners, donors and UNDP clusters to maintain effective relationships.
- Ensure compliance with UNDP policies, financial and operational management standards.
- Support delivery readiness and provide technical advice to enhance programme impact.
Required profile
- Proven experience in managing development projects in a multi‑stakeholder environment.
- Familiarity with UNDP structures, country programmes and Sustainable Development Goals.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities.
