Project Manager, Field Implementation

About the role

The Project Manager, Field Implementation will lead the planning, coordination and execution of STRIDES activities across Bangladesh, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery of Global Health Security interventions at national and sub‑national levels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and implementation of the STRIDES annual work plan, coordinating activities across districts and upazilas.
• Monitor progress against milestones, budgets and donor requirements, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee field‑level interventions in laboratory systems, disease surveillance, health information systems, emergency preparedness, Points of Entry and One Health initiatives.
• Coordinate with government counterparts, implementing partners and technical advisors to ensure effective collaboration and compliance.

Required profile

• Experience managing large‑scale health or development projects in Bangladesh or similar contexts.
• Strong knowledge of Global Health Security frameworks such as IHR 2005, JEE and NAPHS.

Required skills

• Project planning and schedule management.
• Technical coordination of laboratory strengthening, disease surveillance and emergency response activities.
