Project Manager – RISE Disaster Risk Reduction

About the role

World Vision is looking for a Project Manager to lead the RISE Consortium‑funded "Rapid Interventions Through Shared Engagement" project. The role oversees implementation, coordination, monitoring and reporting of disaster risk reduction activities across Gaibandha, Jamalpur and Rohingya camp sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed implementation plans and budgets for the 12‑month project.
• Coordinate with local partners, government agencies, UN offices and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of interventions.
• Monitor project progress, ensure compliance with MEAL, PQA and SCM guidelines, and produce regular reports for World Vision and donors.
• Manage partner performance, provide technical guidance, and facilitate advocacy for disaster preparedness.
• Maintain donor and grant compliance, prepare financial documentation, and support audit processes.
• Represent the project to government officials and key partners, fostering strategic alliances.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing humanitarian or disaster risk reduction projects.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and government liaison skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high‑quality results.
• Familiarity with donor reporting and compliance requirements.
