Protection Caseworker – Women’s Safe Space

About the role
The Protection Caseworker will work within the Women’s Safe Space of the integrated women and girls Centers in Bangladesh. The role focuses on providing direct case management, individual counseling, and group‑based psychosocial activities for women survivors of gender‑based violence (GBV).
Key responsibilities
- Deliver age‑appropriate case management services to GBV survivors, including safety planning and needs assessment.
- Provide individual counseling and facilitate group psychosocial activities.
- Collaborate closely with the health team to ensure timely internal referrals.
- Reinforce adherence to GBV guiding principles and a survivor‑centered approach in all activities.
- Maintain accurate case records and contribute to monitoring and reporting processes.
Required profile
- Experience working with GBV survivors or in protection services.
- Strong understanding of GBV guiding principles and survivor‑centered support.
- Ability to conduct safety planning and needs assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for counseling and group facilitation.
