Protection from Violence Coordinator – Cox's Bazar

About the role

The Protection from Violence Coordinator will lead and manage NRC's PFV activities in Cox's Bazar, ensuring high‑quality implementation, coordination with partners, and safety of beneficiaries and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of PFV projects, including budgeting, documentation, and compliance with donor requirements.
• Oversee civilian self‑protection services, ensuring Safe and Inclusive Programming standards.
• Develop work and expenditure plans, monitor budget spend, and produce analytical reports.
• Recruit, supervise, and coach protection staff, conducting performance appraisals.
• Lead data‑management systems, data cleaning, verification, and analysis in line with the NRC Prevention Framework.
• Represent NRC in coordination forums, such as Protection Sector Working Groups, and promote synergies with other programmes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, peace and conflict studies, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in protection case management and community‑based protection programmes, preferably in Cox's Bazar.
• Demonstrated expertise in civilian self‑protection (CSP) programming and risk reduction.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) and knowledge of the Chittagonian language.
