Purchase Officer – Paddy, Maize & Mustard Seeds

About the role

iFarmer Limited is seeking a motivated Purchase Officer to manage the procurement of paddy, maize and mustard seeds across its Bogura, Dinajpur and Jamalpur operations. You will work from the office, collaborating closely with farmers to ensure that all sourced grain products meet the company’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and grade paddy, maize and mustard seeds according to established quality criteria.
• Assist the procurement team in sourcing, negotiating and purchasing grain products.
• Maintain strong relationships with local farmers and suppliers.
• Monitor market prices and report on supply trends.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality and safety procedures.

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement, agricultural sourcing or a related field.
• Familiarity with grain inspection and grading processes.
• Ability to work effectively in an office environment and coordinate with field teams.
