Registrar - Obstetrics & Gynecology

About the role

The Registrar will join the Obstetrics & Gynecology department at Apollo Imperial Hospitals in Chattogram, delivering comprehensive women's health services, supporting senior consultants, and overseeing both inpatient and outpatient care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior obstetricians and gynecologists in deliveries, surgeries, and emergency procedures.
• Manage patient admissions, conduct examinations, and develop treatment plans under supervision.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
• Participate in ward rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, and on‑call duties.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding obstetric and gynecological health.

Required profile

• MBBS degree from a recognized medical college or university.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology (FCPS, MS, DGO or equivalent) preferred.
• Valid registration with the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC).
• 2 to 4 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Additional training in obstetrics & gynecology is an advantage.
