Senior Executive, Account Management & Operations

About the role

Sony is looking for a dynamic and proactive person to join its Regional Market Development Centre (RMDC), which covers regions such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Cambodia and Myanmar. The role oversees sales activities, maintains strong client relationships and develops and implements strategic sales plans to grow product sales and communication across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and explain product value, building relationships based on trust and respect.
• Collaborate with internal departments to meet client needs, collect and analyse consumer behaviour data, and keep accurate inventory and account records.
• Resolve complaints, improve processes, identify industry trends and act as a client advocate.
• Work with supply chain, sales and other teams for prompt and accurate order processing and delivery, and liaise with stakeholders on account requests.
• Coordinate pre-sales and post-sales follow-up, and achieve weekly and monthly KPIs.
• Perform key accounts analysis, monitor market trends and give regular competitor feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor's degree in Business Management or Marketing.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales or marketing; regional experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to developing countries for business discussions and market visits.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Analytical mindset, excellent presentation and communication skills, and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
