Senior Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

A company based in Dhaka, Bangladesh is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to lead the design, development and maintenance of its scalable web applications. The engineer owns features end-to-end, from React user interfaces to Node.js backends and PostgreSQL data, and acts as a senior team member who drives technical decisions, promotes clean code and mentors junior developers.

Key responsibilities

• Build responsive, accessible, high-performance React and TypeScript interfaces, with efficient state management (Redux Toolkit, Context API or Zustand)
• Create and maintain reusable component libraries
• Architect and deploy secure Node.js (Express.js or NestJS) microservices and RESTful/GraphQL APIs
• Implement clean, documented server-side logic for business workflows and third-party integrations, including OAuth2, JWT and session-based authentication
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, write efficient SQL queries, manage indexes and run migrations without production downtime
• Set code quality standards, run peer code reviews and promote TDD with Jest or Mocha
• Work with DevOps on Docker containerization and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab) for cloud deployment on AWS or DigitalOcean
• Mentor junior and mid-level full-stack developers

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional full-stack web development experience
• Expert React.js, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3, with modern build tools such as Vite and Webpack
• Strong Node.js experience with Express.js, NestJS or Next.js
• Extensive PostgreSQL experience (joins, indexing, query optimization, schema isolation)
• Advanced Git workflow knowledge
• Nice to have: Redis, RabbitMQ/Kafka, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS S3/EC2/RDS, WebSockets
• Strong problem-solving, communication and product mindset
