About the role
The Senior Health Officer – Data Management is responsible for overseeing the collection, storage, and analysis of health data related to Departure Health Checks (DHC) and Immigration Medical Examinations (IME). The role ensures data accuracy, integrity, and security while coordinating with health practitioners and supporting the implementation of health policies.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the collection, storage, and analysis of health data from DHC and IME processes.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of health data in compliance with departmental guidelines.
- Manage electronic health records using e‑medical and other relevant systems.
- Coordinate with panel members and health practitioners to ensure timely and accurate data submission.
- Implement data security measures to protect sensitive health information.
- Document and manage visa holders' health conditions according to departmental standards.
- Facilitate the submission of IME and DHC findings.
Required profile
- Proven experience in health data management, preferably with DHC and IME processes.
- Strong understanding of data security and confidentiality requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively with health practitioners and panel members.
- Solutions‑driven mindset with a passion for humanitarian impact.
