Technical Specialist - Education

About the role

The Technical Specialist – Education provides technical support to Area Development Programmes (ADP) to ensure high‑quality implementation of the Integrated Program Framework (IPF) for education. Working closely with senior managers, programme officers and community facilitators, the specialist helps drive effective, efficient education interventions across multiple Upazila/Urban locations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and subject‑matter expertise to ADP managers, Upazila/Urban Programme Managers, and community facilitators.
• Monitor and assess the quality of education activities through regular field visits and quality assessments.
• Support the development and delivery of capacity‑building initiatives for staff, partners and community groups.
• Coordinate with external education and child‑protection stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and programme impact.
• Maintain compliance with IPF standards, PIG and ADP work plans across 5‑8 Upazila/Urban locations.

Required profile

• Experience providing technical support for education programmes in field settings.
• Ability to travel regularly to multiple Upazila/Urban locations and work from ADP/Cluster offices.
• Strong collaboration skills with senior managers, partners and community groups.
• Knowledge of Integrated Program Framework (IPF) standards and capacity‑building processes.
