Accountant Manager (CA/CC)

About the role

Winstone Properties Ltd is seeking an experienced Accountant Manager to lead its finance function in Uttara, Bangladesh. The role focuses on overseeing financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance for a real‑estate and construction business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Bangladesh Financial Reporting Standards (BFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Coordinate external and internal audits, ensuring timely and accurate audit outcomes.
• Manage tax assessments, VAT filings, and overall tax compliance.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
• Oversee ERP‑based accounting operations, ensuring data integrity and efficient processing.
• Support corporate finance activities, including financial analysis and reporting for property development projects.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in real‑estate, property development, or construction.
• Master of Commerce (MCom) or MBA in Accounting, or a Chartered Accountancy (CA) qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh.
• Proven experience handling external audits, internal audits, and tax assessments.
• Strong knowledge of BFRS, IFRS, budgeting, taxation, VAT, and audit processes.
