Doctor (Ukhiya Based) – Full-Time Medical Position

About the role

The Doctor will be stationed in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar, providing essential medical services to both the Rohingya refugee camp and the local host community. This full‑time position focuses on delivering primary health care, managing common illnesses, and supporting public health initiatives in a humanitarian setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient consultations, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform basic medical procedures and emergency care as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans.
• Collaborate with local health workers and NGOs to coordinate health campaigns.
• Participate in health education and disease prevention activities within the community.

Required profile

• MBBS degree (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery).
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in a hospital or community health setting.
• Willingness to work in a resource‑limited, multicultural environment.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Bengali is an advantage.
